<p>On lit le procès-verbal de la séance précédente : il est adopté.</p>
<p>Il est donné lecture d'une lettre de M. Hind à M. Mathieu par laquelle il annonce la découverte qu'il a faite dans la nuit du 19 mai d'une nouvelle petite planète dans la constellation du Scorpion. </p>
<p>M. Biot communique au Bureau les résultats suivants qui comprennent 1° une comparaison des premiers éléments des planètes obtenus par Kepler, avec les nombres adoptés aujourd'hui par les astronomes ; 2° un tableau des valeurs de la révolution sidérale de la terre calculées à l'aide des grands axes et des révolutions des planètes principales.</p>
<p>M. Biot fait remarquer la hardiesse dont Kepler a fait preuve en concluant sa 3<span>ème</span> loi, malgré l'accord peu satisfaisant que présentent les valeurs.</p>
